Radio Frequency Engineer

An established aerospace manufacturer with decades of experience providing high-performance engineered solutions for commercial, business, and military aircraft is seeking an RF Engineer. Responsibilities

• Design, modeling, simulation, prototyping and testing of RF/antenna systems across frequencies ranging from VHF to Ku-band
• RF 3D modeling, circuit layout
• Perform circuit analysis using computer-aided tools
• Additional responsibilities as they become necessary

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Work experience in design and testing of antennas, or passive RF components and subsystems like combiners, splitters, isolators, attenuators
• Knowledge of basic antenna design theory, behavior and fundamentals
• Experience with industry-standard EM simulation tools
• Theoretical and practical knowledge of RF/Microwave passive components
• Working knowledge of RF/Microwave laboratory test equipment for testing of circuits and subsystems (i.e., Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time
• Knowledge of MS Office such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines
• Ability to work independently; able to work with different levels of staff and management
• Strong attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
