Radiation Therapy Tech

Responsibilities

• Participates in all technical aspects of radiation therapy to include simulation and administration of radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physician.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiation Therapy Technology
• A. Registered as a Radiation Therapy Technologist by ARRT
• B. Eligible for certification by ARRT (Board eligible)
• C. New graduate employees must take the registration boards within six (6) months of graduation or hire date
• D. New graduate employees must pass the registration boards within one (1) year of graduation or hire date
• E. Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

Preferred

• One (1) year previous experience in Radiation Therapy
