About the role
As a Radiation Therapist, you will administer targeted radiation treatments and collaborate with oncology teams to provide compassionate patient care, helping individuals fight cancer effectively.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments accurately
- Collaborate with oncology professionals to develop treatment plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Utilize electronic medical records (EPIC) for documentation
- Maintain compliance with licensing and certification requirements
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
- Valid Radiation Therapy state license (or eligible)
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- VA License or license status (including temporary with pending license)
Schedule
This role typically involves weekday hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend or on-call duties.
