About the role
You will work under the radiation oncologist to develop and monitor patients’ progress throughout the duration of radiotherapy treatments. The Radiation Therapist will communicate the process and research new treatment methods.
Responsibilities
- Develop and monitor patients’ radiotherapy treatment plans under the direction of a radiation oncologist
- Communicate the treatment process to patients and families
- Research and evaluate new treatment methods
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking, and reading comprehension
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
