Radiation Therapist - Hospital Setting

Supplemental Health Care is seeking skilled Radiation Therapists for a contract opportunity at a partnering hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. This role offers the chance to make a real impact by providing advanced cancer treatment in a supportive and patient-centered environment.

About the Role

• 13-week contract, with possibility of extension
• 40 hours per week
• Hospital setting

Pay: $2,500–$2,732 per week

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists
• Accurately position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment to deliver safe, effective treatments
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary while maintaining detailed records
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and oncology nurses to ensure quality patient care
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the treatment process
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program
• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T)
• Active state license, if required by Maryland
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• 1–2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist
