About the role

The successful candidate will provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, operating equipment, and documenting patient data.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for radiation therapy sessions
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
  • Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
  • Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized radiation therapy program
  • Current license to practice as a radiation therapist in the state of [State]
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
  • Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry (preferred)
