About the role
The successful candidate will provide radiation therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physician. Responsibilities include preparing patients for treatment, operating equipment, and documenting patient data.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for radiation therapy sessions
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner
- Follow safety protocols to ensure patient and staff safety
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized radiation therapy program
- Current license to practice as a radiation therapist in the state of [State]
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Experience in a clinical setting (preferred)
- Knowledge of radiation physics and dosimetry (preferred)
