Radiation Therapist - Full Time

About the Role

Provides ionizing radiation therapy to patients following physician prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy during treatment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing treatment rooms and equipment according to prescriptions and patient needs.
• Delivering prescribed radiation doses while observing safety protocols.
• Explaining procedures to patients and monitoring for reactions or complications.
• Maintaining detailed treatment records and patient charts.
• Supervising and evaluating clinical students' practical skills.
• Performing additional related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Required certifications: ARRT-T and TRT.
• Preferred education: Bachelor's and Master's degrees in radiological technology.
• Experience in radiologic technology is preferred.
• Must hold a state fluoroscopy permit (preferred), CPR/BLS certification (preferred), and facility-specific BLS certification.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient care, and record-keeping.
