Radiation Therapist

Responsibilities

• Prepares treatment room
• Explains procedures to patients
• Positions patients and administers treatments
• Maintains strict patient and family confidentiality
• Makes rounds to monitor patients during therapy sessions

Requirements

• Board eligible by the ARRT
• Graduation from an approved program in Radiation Therapy
• One year of experience
• Licensure: Board eligible for registry by the ARRT
