Job Summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a contract position in their Radiation Oncology department in Tucson, AZ. The role is hybrid, combining both on-site and remote work options. The ideal candidate should be available for a start date of May 26th, working Monday through Friday with flexible shift times ranging from 0700-1700, totaling 40 hours per week. Shifts are 10 hours long with a half-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver radiation treatments to patients under the supervision of a medical physicist and radiation oncologist.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery using advanced equipment such as Varian TrueBeams.
• Document all aspects of patient care and treatment in the electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in radiation therapy techniques.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in radiation therapy.
• Must have a current license to practice as a Radiation Therapist in Arizona.
• Previous travel experience is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Varian TrueBeams equipment.
