Radiation Therapist

Role: Radiation Therapy Technologist responsible for administering prescribed radiation treatments in accordance with standards, policies, and physician instructions. Key Responsibilities: Review patient history, physician orders, and treatment plans; educate patients about procedures.Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to determine treatment plans; deliver therapy and monitor patient condition.Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, ensure safety, perform quality control, troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.Position patients, perform imaging procedures, analyze results, resolve imaging issues, and report scan outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technologist program.ARRT(T) Certification.BLS certification through recognized agencies, valid through sixty days of hire.
