Radiation Therapist

Job Summary

You will deliver prescribed courses of radiation therapy to cancer patients, ensuring clinical precision and patient comfort. Your responsibilities include:

• Meticulously position patients
• Operate sophisticated radiation equipment
• Perform daily quality assurance checks
• Carefully monitor patients throughout treatment
• Provide support and clear communication

Responsibilities

• Supply data for and assist in fabrication and/or designs patient immobilization and treatment devices
• Assists in dosimetry procedures
• Provides patient and family adult education
• Observes patient for treatment reactions and reports to physician/nurse
• Aids in emergency procedures

Requirements

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited program in Radiation Therapy or an equivalent
• Medical Radiographer: TX
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT
• Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - days
