Radiation Physicist - $15,000 Sign On Bonus

Job Summary

The clinical physicist in Radiation Oncology is responsible for specifying and acquiring all radiation generating equipment, calibrating the treatment machines, and maintaining dosimetry and health-physics equipment. They also review OSU radiation treatment charts and instruct personnel on radiation therapy physics, dosimetry, and radiation protection.

Required Qualifications

  • M.S. degree with a math and physics concentration, preferably in Medical Physics
  • Specialization in clinical radiation, therapeutic physics
  • Extensive progressively responsible experience in Radiation Oncology, Clinical Physics, and Radiation Therapy
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience, either through previous work experience or clinical Radiation Oncology Residency
  • ABR eligible at a minimum. Expected to obtain ABR certification within 3 years of hire
