About The Role The Radiation Engineering & Analysis (REA) Manager leads and develops a multinational team of engineers responsible for radiation analysis, radiation engineering, and radiation protection support. Our market is global with customers in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, covering the operating fleet, decommissioning, and new build. The manager will directly manage and develop the REA engineering staff, promoting technical growth, engagement, and accountability by the following: Monitor workload demand and planning project executionSet clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and formal performance evaluationsSupport career development through training plans, stretch assignments, and succession planningBuild a collaborative team culture that emphasizes technical carefulness, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharingManage hiring, onboarding, and retention of technical talent The Radiation Engineering & Analysis Manager will report to the Director of Radiation, Waste Management and Decommissioning. You will work in a hybrid capacity. Key Responsibilities Coach a team of engineers, including performance management, career development, and hiringManage work planning, prioritization, and resource managementEnsure, high-quality delivery of engineering work products according to internal quality processes and industry standardsFacilitate collaboration across a geographically dispersed team with engineers in multiple US locations, Spain, and Germany.Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and a safe and quality culture Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering or related disciplineWe typically prefer a minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible engineering and/or leadership experience.Experience as a people manager or team lead, with responsibility for performance management and staff developmentExcellent team building skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders. We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, to be 130,400 to 163,000 per year. Why Westinghouse?
