Radar Test Engineer

About the role

HireArt is helping our client find a Radar Test Engineer to support vehicle testing and radar firmware validation. In this role, you'll schedule and execute structured and unstructured vehicle testing and support next-generation radar evaluation. You'll coordinate test campaign logistics, assist with thermal testing, and contribute to radar test setup development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute structured and unstructured vehicle testing
• Validate radar firmware and support performance evaluation of next-generation radar systems
• Coordinate test campaign logistics and scheduling
• Manage warranty returns and support communication with radar suppliers
• Assist with thermal testing to validate new trims and enclosures
• Develop and maintain radar test setups, including gimbals and automation scripts

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with working on Linux systems
• Experience with Ethernet systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Scripting with Python or other automation tools
• Exposure to testing autonomous vehicle hardware systems
