About the Role
The Integrated Missile Defense Technology Group performs analysis and develops technology to defend America, our military personnel, and our allies from missile and drone threats. We support the U.S. Armed Services and the Missile Defense Agency in developing, testing, and improving the defense systems that keep us safe.
Responsibilities
- Identify critical needs – Analyze emerging missile and drone threats from around the world to identify critically needed defenses
- Develop solutions – Create new technologies, design systems, and develop algorithms that advance modern defense capabilities
- Prototype and test – Build prototypes, partner with government and industry to transition them into operational systems, and support testing at every scale—from small laboratory experiments to large-scale field demonstrations
- Deploy capabilities – Transition new technologies to operational systems that defend against actual threats
Qualifications
Requirements for this position include:
- Advanced degree in relevant field (e.g., physics, electrical engineering, computer science)
- Experience with missile defense systems and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Skills
Preferred skills for this position include:
- Knowledge of radar systems and technologies
- Experience with data analysis and machine learning
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, or C++
- Understanding of signal processing and communications
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
Pay
Base salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
