About the role

Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting colleagues in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services according to accepted standards of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self, and other members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology (Post High School Special Training)
• State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license
• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
