About the role
Perform a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic procedures using various types of radiographic equipment, including DR fixed equipment, DR fluoro equipment, C-arms, and portable DR equipment.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Licensed and accredited by ARRT and State, if required.
- BLS certification.
- 2 years of experience as a Rad Tech / X-Ray Tech.
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer by start of assignment.
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the operation of radiographic equipment.
- Ability to function independently without supervision.
- Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols.
- Must have a dosimeter badge.
Qualifications
- Varied shifts.
- Average of 3 days of call per month.
