We are looking to hire a Radiology Tech!As a Radiology Tech at MercyOne, you will:Be responsible for performing general diagnostic imaging exams, CT's, as well as mammography and other designated proceduresContribute to the efficient operation of the department, ensuring the quality and continuity of patient careProvide care appropriate to the age and development of patients of most ages – teenagers through geriatricSchedule:36 hours a weekMonday - FridayNight and weekend call rotation (every 4th weekend)Requirements:Graduation of an AMA Radiologic Technology programIowa permit to practiceMaintains certification with the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsARRT Credentials preferred include: Mammography, BDSM certification and CT certificationWilling to obtain credentials within a designated time frame as determined by department needRemains current with Continuing Education requirements for designated national certificationsMust provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current statusCompletes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 3 yearsMercyOne is proud to be equal opportunity employers.
