Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostic procedures with a reassuring approach and technical skills.
• Assess patients before, during, and after procedures as per Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment such as radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems.
• Position patients to ensure high-quality images are obtained.
• Administer IV contrast injections, perform urinary catheterizations, and conduct other procedures as needed.
• Utilize RIS and electronic medical records systems.
• Train students and staff as required.
• May be cross-trained in laboratory phlebotomy and operate waived testing equipment according to CLIA regulations.
• May be trained to perform EKGs.
• Travel to other Velocity Cares locations as needed.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• No prior experience required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required.
• Virginia state license required.
• AHA BLS-HCP certification required.

Pay

Compensation range: $23.97 - $35.96 per hour. Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
