About the Role

As a Lead Technologist, you will lead and manage technical services, ensuring adherence to professional standards. Your role involves providing compassionate and ethical care, collaborating with radiologists, and continuously improving your knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Imaging:
    • Performs MRI, CT, and DTI procedures
    • Screens patients for precautions and contraindications
    • Prepares patients for imaging procedures
    • Adjusts scan parameters
    • Maintains patient records in RIS
    • Produces diagnostic images
    • Performs quality control tasks
    • Communicates with doctors, nurses, and patients
    • Maintains a high-quality patient service standard
    • Fulfills physician orders accurately
    • Adheres to safety regulations
  • Imaging & Staff Support:
    • Maintains equipment in good condition
    • Cleans and disinfects equipment
    • Comprehends and enforces company policies and procedures
    • Ensures compliance with state regulations and internal policies
    • Enforces ACR and MQSA regulations
    • Manages staffing levels
    • Conducts staff performance evaluations and development
    • Assists with training new associates
    • Organizes regular staff meetings and one-on-one sessions
    • Monitors medical supply inventory
  • Remote Position:
    • No status
    • Full-time

Requirements

  • ARRT Registered Technologist, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of AMA-approved radiography school
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state (if applicable)
  • Current CPR certification

Preferred

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Bilingual skills
