Rad Tech Educator/UKHC

Job Summary

The Rad Tech Educator will have primary responsibility for providing all onboarding and educational needs for all the rad techs in Interventional Radiology and the Cardiac Cath Lab. The goal of this position is to be the clinical expert and educator for the interventional procedural areas in regard to Radiologic Technologists and any rad tech support or assistant positions.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organization and presentation of information for educational purposes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cath Lab, and/or Interventional Radiology
• PREFERRED CREDENTIALS: Registered Radiologic Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist RT -(CI), Radiologic Vascular Interventional Certified RT , (VI)

$54,080-95,056/year

Schedule

Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
