Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body.
- Under the supervision of a Radiologist, perform x-ray therapy on patients, assess patients throughout and respond to the patient’s needs as appropriate.
- Serve patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and outpatient patients in need of services.
- Perform procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients ages neonate through geriatric.
- Provide quality diagnostic results while maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or ARMRI must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date.
- State Registered Radiologic Technician.
- Average Associate Degree.
- No travel required.
