Rad Tech/Cath Lab

About the role

This position is responsible for the quality of Cardiac Cath Lab Studies. The incumbent operates all cath lab equipment and imaging processing equipment. Duties include scrub assistant, circulating, and operation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operates all cath lab equipment and imaging processing equipment.
• Performs all cath lab duties such as scrub assistant, circulating, and operation of equipment.
• Picks up supplies, stocks supplies, and keeps the work area orderly.

Requirements

• Educational Requirements:
• A high school graduate.
• Two years of training in a School of Radiologic Technology in a certificate program or a degree in a college.
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and licensed by the LA State Board of Radiologic Technology.
• Experience Requirements:
• Knowledge of sterile technique, fluoroscopy safety, and vascular anatomy.
• CPR certified.

Qualifications
