Racquet Sports Front Desk Attendant

About the role

The Club at Forest Ridge is seeking a Part Time Racquet Sports Front Desk Attendant to join their team. Offering a comprehensive racquet sports program, The Club features expert coaching, premier programming, and top-tier amenities for players of all levels.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing procedures for the shop or store as determined by management.
• Collects applicable fees from members/guests and outside patrons as they arrive.
• Makes court, clinic, lesson and special event reservations, in person or by phone.
• Sells merchandise and provides information to guests in a professional manner.
• Aids in rotating stock and maintaining displays.
• Assists with general cleaning of the shop or store.
• Assists with creating appealing displays under the supervision of the shop supervisor.
• Participates in monthly physical inventories.
• Collaborates with coaches to ensure orderly start and play times.
• Ensures adherence to safe work practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Frequent standing, reaching, talking, hearing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, or crouching.
• Regular lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Active tennis player with knowledge of the game.
• Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
• Computer proficiency including POS, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant software.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Ability to read and speak English (if required).
• Knowledge of tennis-related software.

$12.50 per hour.
