Rack Services Merchandiser Part-Time

About the role

This full-time position requires a commitment of approximately 12 - 16 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Order HBC/GM merchandise for member/retailer stores.
• Verify expiration dates on all product received and on shelf.
• Check in the entire order, including cases and totes.
• Stock, rotate, pull discontinued items and dust all HBC/GM departments in member/retailer stores each time the store is worked.
• Notify your supervisor and/or supervisor of any errors in shipping and/or outdated product.
• Fill out complete and accurate credit return forms.
• Maintain private label products merchandised to the right of the comparable national brand.
• Develop a good working relationship with member/retailer.
• Work in new items and replace slow and non-selling items.

Requirements

• No less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The employee must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• The employee must maintain an appropriate motor vehicle driving record.
