Rack and Stack Cabling Engineer/Onsite

About the role

Join a rapidly growing infrastructure and data center solutions company that specializes in enterprise deployments, cloud connectivity, and mission-critical environments. We are seeking a Hands-On Rack & Stack Engineer to support large-scale hardware installations, cabling, server deployments, and infrastructure modernization initiatives across cutting-edge data center environments. This is a full-time opportunity based in King of Prussia, PA.

Responsibilities

• 50% Red Hat Linux
• 30% Windows Server 2019/2022
• 20% Networking & Infrastructure Hardware
• 70% Hands On
• 10% Management Duties
• 20% Team Collaboration

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on rack and stack or data center experience
• Experience installing servers, switches, firewalls, and storage hardware
• Knowledge of structured cabling, patch panels, and cable management
• Experience with Red Hat Linux and Windows Server administration
• Familiarity with enterprise hardware vendors such as Dell, Cisco, HP, or Lenovo
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware connectivity and deployment issues
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to lift and move equipment within data center environments

Qualifications

• Desired but not required: Experience working in colocation or enterprise data center environments
• Desired but not required: Knowledge of VMware or virtualization technologies
• Desired but not required: Basic networking knowledge including VLANs, IP addressing, and switch configuration
• Desired but not required: Experience with remote hands support and infrastructure migrations
• Desired but not required: Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, RHCSA, or CCNA
• Desired but not required: Exposure to cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments
