About the role

Write and cash race and sports book tickets and provide Golden Nugget customers with race and sports book information. This position must exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy and Positivity).

Responsibilities

• Write and cash race and sports book tickets for customers.
• Assist customers and answer all questions they may have.
• Balance drawer at end of shift.
• Keep customer sheet racks fully supplied.
• Sell daily racing forms to customers.
• Head cashier: pick up and deliver all banks at beginning and end of shift.
• Head cashier: make starting banks for all tellers during the day.
• Head cashier: receive and count all teller banks during the shift.

Requirements

• Ability to work well with the public and fellow employees.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English and articulate.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• High School diploma.
