Hammerhead Colorado Springs, CO, USA Schweinfurt, Germany USD 100k-150k / year Posted on Aug 26, 2026 Overview SRAM is looking for a Race Manager to select and manage SRAM's investments in road, gravel, triathlon, and cyclocross racing. This role leads a global team of race technicians who support professional teams and athletes at the highest level of competitive cycling. Responsibilities Lead a high performing team of Race TechniciansManage technical requirements for pro teams and athletes in collaboration with product stakeholdersProvide technical feedback from teams to product developmentScout potential future teams and athletes to promote SRAM brandsDevelop and negotiate contracts with athletes and teamsManage contracts and relationships and support cross functional activation of sponsorshipsRepresent the team in annual marketing planning and go to market planning processesInspire a team culture of continuous improvementManage the racing budget Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Sports Marketing, Communications, or a similar field, or equivalent experience10 years of experience in Sports Marketing, Communications, or a similar field3 years of experience directly managing a team, or related management experienceKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Demonstrated ability to build and execute global sports marketing strategiesExtensive knowledge of the global bike and race industryExceptional written, oral, and public speaking communication skillsExcellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneouslyDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams in a cross functional, global workplaceExperience with budget analysis and planningStrong bicycle mechanic skills, including the ability to perform a complete assembly of a race bikeProficient with MS OfficeWorking Conditions:Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40 percent of the time, including weekendsAbility to stand at events for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 pounds / 20 kgAbility to ride a bike to accomplish objectivesCompensation and Benefits:Starting salary range: $100,000 up to $150,000, based on skills and experience.
