Paid economics tutor positions for undergraduate Economics majors and minors within the Department of Economics.
Responsibilities
- Tutor students in microeconomics and macroeconomics.
- Record tutoring details such as student name(s) and relevant course(s), as well as your own work hours.
- Proctor make-up exams when applicable.
- Maintain confidentiality, be punctual, and communicate changes in work schedule.
Requirements
- Economics major or minor.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a diverse student population.
- Must have completed Econ 202, Econ 204, or both with a grade of A- or higher.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and organized.
Schedule
- May work up to 5–15 hours per week.
- Scheduled hours will be between Monday–Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Evening shifts may be added if there is demand.
- Anticipated start date: September 8, 2026.
