Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Propose and coordinate workshops, course instruction, or other programming for CSU students that incorporates CSU Libraries and Archives & Special Collections resources to support creative artistry and expression.
• Participate in writing workshops offered through the Libraries.
• Offer talks or panels on current topics in literature.
• Perform performances of one's own writing.
• Explore opportunities for campus partnerships for art- and literature-related programming or content.
• Promote the Libraries and Archives & Special Collections to campus through creating exhibits, producing promotional media or social media, building reading lists, or generating other creative writing-focused ideas.
• Document your activity and the program’s partnerships during the year.

Required Skills And Prerequisites

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Accepted into CSU’s Creative Writing MFA Program.
