R&D Technical Assistant
About the role
The R&D Technical Assistant position at Joulé in Madison Heights, MI is a 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to permanent. The role involves performing a variety of technical procedures, conducting laboratory support functions, and performing technical and record-keeping duties.
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of technical procedures such as preparing solutions and reactions.
- Conducts laboratory support functions like stocking and distributing supplies.
- Operates laboratory equipment and performs technical procedures in assigned areas.
- May analyze compounds and manage corporate compound collection.
Requirements
- High School diploma with significant experience or two-year Associate’s degree.
- Ability to translate observations into technical hypotheses.
- Ability to operate laboratory equipment.
