R&D Supplier Quality Manager

For our client, we are seeking a R&D Supplier Quality Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee supplier quality activities that support research and development operations, with a strong focus on risk-based governance, compliance, and service performance. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure R&D systems and services meet GxP expectations, data integrity requirements, and lifecycle standards. The position also plays an important role in strengthening supplier oversight, contract quality alignment, and issue escalation across a complex regulated environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $104,287 – $141,094 annually Responsibilities Conduct risk-based supplier assessments and audits across R&D service categories Lead qualification and oversight of suppliers providing GxP computerized systems for clinical activities Plan and document audits of supplier GxP systems to assess compliance and data integrity Assess supplier quality systems for lifecycle management and incident management Review quality and technical requirements in supplier contracts and agreements Participate in supplier governance and evaluate service performance and risks Monitor supplier performance and escalate quality issues as needed Qualifications Doctorate degree, or a Master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience Master's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences or Engineering preferred Knowledge of GxP, ISO standards, and regulatory expectations for R&D suppliers Experience with supplier quality risk assessment tools and audit practices Working knowledge of computerized system validation and assurance principles Benefits Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement and savings plan with generous company contributions Discretionary annual bonus program or sales-based incentive plan for field sales representatives Stock-based long-term incentives Award-winning time-off plans and flexible work models Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
