Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a curious, technically capable R&D Scientist to contribute to the development and improvement of chemical products and technologies across our global portfolio. This role is ideal for a scientist who enjoys hands‑on experimentation, rigorous data analysis, and working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams to translate scientific ideas into practical, commercial outcomes.
What will you be doing?
- Research & Development Activities
- Design and execute laboratory experiments to develop new products, formulations, or processes.
- Generate experimental data to support product performance, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Apply scientific principles to solve technical challenges in development programs.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze, interpret, and document experimental results accurately and clearly.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards of data integrity and documentation.
- Collaboration & Project Support
- Contribute to cross‑functional project teams alongside manufacturing, quality, regulatory, and commercial colleagues.
- Support scale‑up, technology transfer, and troubleshooting activities between laboratory and production environments.
- Participate in technical reviews and project meetings.
- Laboratory & Safety Compliance
- Conduct all work in line with laboratory safety standards, operating procedures, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and records in good order.
- Support audits, inspections, and internal quality processes as required.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Contribute ideas for process optimization, method improvement, and innovation.
- Stay informed on relevant scientific developments, technologies, and industry trends.

What competencies will you need?
- Technical & Scientific Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
- Practical laboratory experience in chemical synthesis, formulation, or analytical testing.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory techniques and instrumentation.
- Understanding of development workflows from concept through validation or scale‑up (desirable).
- Quality, Safety & Compliance Competencies
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and safe handling of chemicals.
- Ability to work in compliance with quality systems, SOPs, and regulatory expectations.
- Strong commitment to data integrity and documentation standards.
