R&D Project & Portfolio Management

For our client, we are seeking a R&D Project & Portfolio Management to join the team of a leader in the Food & Beverages space. This role will guide a portfolio of research and development initiatives, ensuring projects are prioritized and executed in support of broader business objectives. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to bring structure, governance, and visibility to complex programs from concept through completion. The position will also help strengthen stage-gate discipline, track performance, and surface insights that improve delivery across the portfolio. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate a comprehensive portfolio of R&D projects to align with strategic goals Lead the implementation of stage-gate processes across functions to ensure project governance Support planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet scope, budget, and timelines Monitor and report on portfolio performance, providing actionable insights for improvement Organize cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept to successful completion Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or certification is a plus Proven experience in portfolio and project management, preferably in packaging or manufacturing Proficiency in project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum Familiarity with project management software and tools, including MS Office, SharePoint, MS Project, and SAP Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans Flexible time off starting at 80 hours per year Company-paid holidays starting at 8 days per year Wellbeing program and Employee Assistance Program Health Savings Account/Flexible Spending Account Life insurance and disability benefits Paid Parental Leave Retirement Savings Plan with company match Tuition Reimbursement available Discretionary annual bonus program Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
