R&D Project Manager

About the Role

Review project proposals and plans to determine timelines, budgets, staffing, and resources required. Develop work plans and arrange recruitment or assignment of project personnel. Assign duties, responsibilities, and authority to project staff.

Direct and coordinate project activities to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion. Review status reports and adjust schedules or plans as needed. Provide technical advice and problem-solving support to project personnel. Prepare and deliver project reports to management and clients.

Lead customer meetings and maintain customer communications. Document customer and project requirements. Define and document product/engineering specifications and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize designs and processes for implants and catheter-based systems.
• Ensure compliance with medical device and new product development standards.
• Utilize CAD/CAE tools (preferably Creo and AutoCAD) and standard office software.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of project processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related science field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in new product development or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and project management skills; Project Management certification is a plus.
