R&D Operations Senior Manager

For our client, we are seeking a R&D Operations Senior Manager to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will oversee budget management and financial operations for assigned R&D organizations, ensuring leaders have accurate visibility into spending, forecasts, and performance. The position serves as a key partner to functional leadership and Finance, translating business priorities into actionable financial plans and reporting. It requires strong operational judgment, analytical rigor, and the ability to support effective decision-making across a complex research and development environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $137,365 – $185,848 annually Responsibilities Lead the budget management process for assigned R&D organizations. Serve as the key financial partner for functional leadership and R&D Finance. Translate business priorities into accurate financial forecasts. Maintain governance of budget plans and identify spending trends. Develop insightful financial reports and analyses for leadership. Qualifications Doctorate degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in biotech or pharma business operations or financial analytics. Advanced degree in business, finance, or life sciences preferred. Strong project and operational management skills.
