R&D Mechanical Engineering Intern

A Day in the Life

The Mechanical Engineering Intern at Design West Technologies Inc. will participate in R&D development and testing of CBRN and weapon systems and components, support drawing and documentation updates, support proposal activities, develop 3D models of parts or fixtures using SolidWorks, document machine set up processes, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recent graduate B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or similar engineering discipline
• Motivated to learn and work in a team
• Experience with 2D and/or 3D CAD modeling using SolidWorks
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word
• Well organized, capable of gathering and organizing
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
