About the role

We are seeking a Lab Tech to contribute to the development of an industry-leading system for quantifying the quality of fish. This role involves hands-on work with fish samples, setting up experiments, and generating precise sensory data.

Responsibilities

• Set up and conduct experiments with fish samples
• Handle and evaluate fish based on taste, odor, and visual cues
• Generate highly precise objective sensory data through character and intensity annotations
• Follow established protocols and maintain high standards of objectivity and focus

Requirements

• Highly meticulous and organized focus
• A background or demonstrated interest in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Culinary Science
• Proven gustatory and olfactory acuity (sensory acuity screening required)

Qualifications

• Ability to lift at least 30lbs
