About the role

In this role, you will work in our NYC lab to support all experiments. The successful candidate will be a hands-on, motivated self-starter with a strong sense of initiative. You are someone who is ambitious and would like to start a career in the biotech industry. Your role will be lab oriented, fast-paced and filled with opportunities to learn various biotech skills. Your efforts will be focused on assisting and supporting laboratory functionalities. You will also have the opportunity to participate in other business functions. The successful candidate is passionate about biotechnology, keeps up to date with life science news and is looking for a career jumpstart. This is a 6-month paid, in-lab position in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Assist scientists with various experiments
• Organization and maintenance of lab equipment
• Perform other support activities such as inventory checks, ordering, collection and distribution of new lab consumables and materials
• Contribute to preparing weekly presentations of your work and results from in-lab
