R & D Engineer - Automation
Job Responsibilities
Work with in-house Machinists and outside vendors to source components for production equipment and machinery
Project Management from conception to completion
Design and test automation equipment and processes
Integration between robotics/EOAT, cameras, sensors, other automation applications
Work side-by-side with Machine Builders and Electricians in the assembly of new equipment and machinery
Job Requirements
- Desire to work on both: conceptual engineering and hands-on product development
- SolidWorks experience: models, assembly, and drawings required. Desired: configurations, surfacing
- Capability to learn about new subjects
- Thrives in an environment of constant change and evolution
- Working Knowledge of machine design, industrial robot controls, and PLCs is required
- Effective problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical techniques for issue resolution
- Ability to develop creative automation solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics or Industrial Engineering

A family-owned Aerospace company, Dynomax designs, manufactures and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, and specialty machines since 1986. We are seeking a hands-on R&D Engineer who will design, build, create drawings for and assemble automation solutions and equipment for the production of electrical components.
