We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections that have real specific content. Must not repeat job title. Must not include Job ID etc. Must preserve all substantive info, no invention. Remove boilerplate like EEO, legal, etc. Must not include duplicated lines. Must not include application instructions. Must not include cookie/navigation/legal/EEO etc. We need to parse the posting. Key content: - Intro: "What You Will Do This position will be filled either as an R&D Engineer 1 or an R&D Engineer 2, depending on the skills of the selected candidate(s). Additional job responsibilities, outlined below, will be assigned if the candidate is hired at the higher level. Come join the best and brightest minds in the world at one of the most innovative and creative multidisciplinary research institutions engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security. The work we do at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) matters to our country and the world! The Operational Safety & Compliance Group (PSS-2) is seeking a highly motivated R&D Engineer to engage in exciting research opportunities. The selected candidate will support PSS-2's mission to reduce operational and programmatic risk at the Institutional and Weapons Production levels, through the application of continuous learning and the implementation of best-in-class safety and nuclear materials management program. Nuclear material storage surveillance is a key component to ensuring protection to the worker, public, and environment. The development of novel surveillance tools to ensure compliance with DOE orders and standards, in addition to any facility-level requirements, are needed to address many of the incipient concerns with nuclear material storage containers where conventional approaches fail to provide information. The Storage Safety and Engineering team addresses these concerns through the application of machine learning-driven analytical tools and cutting-edge automated characterization systems. Leveraging a broad technical background, the team develops state-of-the-art deployable solutions in support of the surveillance process and enhances surveillance data by adding useful data to support container health assessments. As a member of the team, you will be actively involved in a diverse set of activities supporting core programmatic needs and directly impacting national security. The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with a team of experienced technical staff to explore and understand, in detail, nuclear material storage container health and characterization tools that provide the most relevant information for health screening. Candidates with a background in this research area, willingness to work with others, and a strong academic profile are encouraged to apply." Then "R&D Engineer 1 Job Duties:" list bullet points. Then "In addition to the job duties listed for the R&D Engineer 1, job duties for the R&D Engineer 2 level include:" list bullet points. Then "Salary Range: While the posted salary range for this position is broad, it is highly unusual for selected applicants to be hired at the top end of the range and more common for selected candidates to grow into the full salary band over time. R&D Engineer 1: $96,600 to $158,000 R&D Engineer 2: $106,400 to $176,000 #shiftwork" Then "What You Need Minimum Job Requirements: Applicants must submit a comprehensive resume reflective of relevant experience that addresses the minimum job requirements and desired qualifications of the position below for full consideration." Then "Education/Experience Requirements for the R&D Engineer 1: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution related to the occupation combined with 2 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and technical experience directly related to the occupation. Candidates that meet the degree requirement, but who do not meet the two-year experience requirement, are encouraged to apply and may be considered for hire through an allowable variance." Then "Education/Experience Requirements for the R&D Engineer 2: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution related to the occupation combined with 4 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and technical experience directly related to the occupation." Then "Additional Skills and Knowledge:" list bullet points. Then "Qualifications We Desire:" list bullet points. Then "Work Location: The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management." Then "Work Schedule: This position may/will require 24/7 coverage, which could/will involve working a shift/weekend schedule. Employees may be eligible for the shift differential pay when assigned by their manager. Shift/weekend assignments are at the discretion of the manager." Then "Position Commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the time required, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader. The position commitment for this position is 1 year." Then "Note to Applicants: Due to federal restrictions..." This is legal/EEO? It's about citizenship restrictions. Might be considered boilerplate? The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. This note about citizenship restrictions is legal; likely should be removed. Also later "Where You Will Work" description about LANL location and benefits. Then "Located in beautiful northern New Mexico, Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security. Our generous benefits package includes: ..." Then bullet list of benefits. Then "Additional Details Directive 206.2: Employment with Triad requires a favorable decision by NNSA indicating employee is suitable under NNSA Supplemental Directive 206.2. Please note that this requirement applies only to citizens of the United States. Foreign nationals are subject to a similar requirement under DOE Order 142.3A. Clearance: Q (Position will be cleared to this level). Selected applicants will be subject to a background investigation conducted by or on behalf of the Federal Government and must meet eligibility requirements* for access to classified matter. This position requires a Q clearance and obtaining such clearance requires US Citizenship except in extremely rare circumstances. Dependent upon the position, additional authorization to access classified information may be required, which may or may not be available to dual citizens. Receipt of a Q clearance and additional access authorization ultimately is a decision of the Federal Government and not of Triad. Eligibility requirements: To obtain a clearance, an individual must be at least 18 years of age; U.S. citizenship is required except in very limited circumstances. See DOE Order 472.2 for additional information. New-Employment Drug Test: The Laboratory requires successful applicants to complete a new-employment drug test and maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing. Although New Mexico and other states have legalized the use of marijuana, use and possession of marijuana remain illegal under federal law. A positive drug test for marijuana will result in termination of employment, even if the use was pre-offer." These are legal/EEO etc. Should be removed. Then "Equal Opportunity: Los Alamos National Laboratory is an equal opportunity employer..." also boilerplate, remove. Thus we keep substantive sections: About the role (intro), Responsibilities (duties for R&D Engineer 1 and additional for level 2), Requirements (education/experience), Skills (Additional Skills and Knowledge), Qualifications (Qualifications We Desire), Benefits (benefits list), Pay (salary range), Schedule (work schedule). Also maybe Work Location? Not a required heading but could be part of About the role? The instruction says use headings for section headings (About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Work Location not listed; we could incorporate into About the role or maybe omit if not covered. But we should preserve all substantive info; location is substantive. Could include in About the role paragraph. Or we could add a separate section but not in allowed headings; better to incorporate. We must not repeat job title as heading. So we will not have heading for R&D Engineer. We need to output only HTML fragment, no /, no markdown fences. We'll produce something like:

About the role

... (intro paragraph plus location maybe)

Responsibilities

  • ... (list duties for R&D Engineer 1)
  • ... plus additional for level 2? Could combine? The instruction: "Use
    • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits". We can have separate lists for each level? Probably combine all duties (including additional for level 2) as responsibilities. Could separate with note? But we must preserve all info. Could have two lists: one for R&D Engineer 1 duties, another for additional duties for level 2. But that would be two
        under same heading; acceptable.

        Requirements

        Education/Experience Requirements for R&D Engineer 1: ...

        Education/Experience Requirements for R&D Engineer 2: ...

        Skills

        • ... (Additional Skills and Knowledge)

        Qualifications

        • ... (Qualifications We Desire)

        Benefits

        • ... (benefits list)

        Pay

        Salary Range: R&D Engineer 1: $96,600 to $158,000; R&D Engineer 2: $106,400 to $176,000.

        Schedule

Work Schedule: This position may/will require 24/7 coverage, which could/will involve working a shift/weekend schedule. Employees may be eligible for the shift differential pay when assigned by their manager. Shift/weekend assignments are at the discretion of the manager.

We must ensure we don't include boilerplate like "#shiftwork". Could include as note? Probably not needed. We must preserve all substantive info: The intro includes mention of "Come join the best and brightest..." etc. We'll keep that. We need to avoid repeating job title as heading; fine. We must not include duplicated lines. Ensure we don't repeat same sentences. Let's craft the About the role paragraph: combine the introductory paragraphs up to "Candidates with a background in this research area, willingness to work with others, and a strong academic profile are encouraged to apply." Also include work location? Could add sentence: "The work location is onsite in Los Alamos, NM." That's from Work Location section. We'll incorporate. Thus About the role paragraph: "This position will be filled either as an R&D Engineer 1 or an R&D Engineer 2, depending on the skills of the selected candidate(s). Additional job responsibilities, outlined below, will be assigned if the candidate is hired at the higher level.
