Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in new products prior to market introduction.
- Lead the development of baseline processes and data packages in the final stage of product commercialization.
- Transfer product expertise to customers and local technical support teams.
- Support customers in troubleshooting issues, including optimizing and customizing processes to specific customer requirements.
- Participate in safety activities and ensure compliance with company safety practices.
- Troubleshoot problems both internally and at customer sites.
- Participate in achieving the company’s quality goals.
- Strive for the highest level of customer satisfaction and ensure high-quality work and reporting.
Key interface roles include global customers, sales, marketing, global field service engineering, and counterparts in technology organizations (Tech Service, Pad/Slurry R&D, and Applications labs).
Accountabilities
- Ensure process baseline and data packages are in place for product introduction to the broad market.
- Ensure the product delivers against its designed targets in the customer’s process environment.
- Achieve customer satisfaction with the functional performance of the product.
- Train and equip local technical teams for sustained support beyond early introduction and stabilization.
- Ensure each project goal is clear and understood among the team.
- Document and communicate results globally.
- Operate in compliance with company safety and ethics practices.
Requirements
- Three years of semiconductor experience or relevant process development/customer engagement experience.
- Minimum B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, or a related engineering degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CMP, advanced packaging, and/or semiconductor fabrication.
- DOE, statistical data analysis, and technical reporting.
- Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication metrology and procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
