Quote Technician

Principal Responsibilities

• Develop and document product quotation guidelines and policy for general distribution to the quotations group and engineering.
• Work closely with buyers, engineers, and suppliers to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Complete quotation on a timely basis in reference to 2 day turnaround time.
• Provide as needed quotation working drawings from the SAP system for customer approvals.
• Afford assistance with the addition and corrections to the routing sheet in the SAP Engineering and quotations systems to comply with any process changes.
• Offer customer support in standard and special tooling phone calls.
• Maintain records and work area in proper order.
• Maintain confidentiality of all designs and process criteria relating to the products manufactured by the company.
• Maintain an appropriate/professional working relationship with outside vendors and customers.
