Responsibilities
- Check systems and components for security and functionality.
- Isolate problematic systems or components.
- Drive the vehicle for testing and refill fluid levels as necessary.
- Ensure proper tire pressure and clean/lubricate fittings as needed.
- Install new oil drain plugs and oil filters, and communicate oil levels to teammates.
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Replace worn parts to prevent breakdowns or damage.
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of automobiles and strong diagnostic skills.
- Effective analytical and communication abilities, with a willingness to improve.
- Ability to learn new technologies, repair, and service procedures and specifications.
- Proficiency in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED (required).
- ASE Certification or Technical degree (preferred).
- One year of experience in a service department.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
