Quick Lane Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnosing, maintaining vehicle automotive systems including electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.
• Executing repairs written under Warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Manage repair orders to ensure Service completion by promise times.
• Fixing vehicle right the first time is a must.
• Maintain a professional work station including the tool box, vehicle lift and General work area.
• Work closely with the Parts and Service departments.
• Ensure quality work and that the repairs will be satisfactory to the customer.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience is a must.
• Strong automotive background
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Positive customer attitude and effective communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work a required schedule.
