Quick Lane Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform Oil Changes, Tire Rotations, and Multipoint Inspection check lists per Ford Motor Company instructions
- Test to check whether systems and components are secure and working properly, top off fluids, and inspect fluid conditions
- Identify components that need to be replaced or maintained
- Perform BG Services, Fluid Exchanges, Alignments, and Safety Recalls
- Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
- Mount and Balance Tires
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in repairing vehicles
- Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
- Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Some experience is expected
- We will provide additional training
- Able to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Understands basic operation of vehicles
- Learns quickly
- Oral and written communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Great teammate and positive attitude
- Possess a clean driving record and valid driver’s license
- Maintains stall in an orderly and clean manner
- Ability to identify problems quickly
- Knowledge of automobiles
- Math, reading, and computer skills
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications

We are seeking knowledgeable or experienced Maintenance Mechanics or B and C Level Auto Technicians to join us at Sunset Ford of Waterloo.
