About the role

We are seeking a support worker (m/f/d) for the residential groups in our Living and Accompaniment services for people with physical and multiple disabilities. The position is available immediately or at a later date, either full-time or part-time (between 20 and 38.5 hours per week).

GiB, with its Autism Center Hannover (AZH) brand, has been supporting people with disabilities in Lower Saxony for 30 years. Across our facilities in Hannover, Hildesheim, and Celle, nearly 430 employees accompany and promote children, adolescents, and adults with various disabilities and/or autism. Our primary goal is to enable the people we support to live as independently and self-determinedly as possible, ensuring full social participation.

Responsibilities

• Support in accompanying and caring for people with disabilities based on individual assistance plans, in accordance with the job description and concept of the residential group for people with physical and multiple disabilities.

Requirements

• Practical experience in accompanying and caring for people with physical and multiple disabilities or comparable professional experience.
• Empathetic interaction with people with disabilities.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Teamwork skills.
• Clean extended police clearance certificate (erweitertes Führungszeugnis).
