About the role

This position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule (D Shift) from 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follow the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stock lines/machines with needed materials.
• Transport, weigh, and mix appropriate ingredients.
• Load and unload machines.
• Perform periodic checks on output.
• Create samples and perform quality control checks.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report problems to supervisor, including safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation/records relative to safety, quality, and productivity for assigned area.
• Follow standard operating procedures, safe operating practices, 5S, standard work, and other lean manufacturing principles.
• Keep area safe, clean, and organized.
• Support a life-long learning environment, enhancing own skills as well as assisting in the development of other team members.
• Cross department lines and help the team where needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.
