Quantity Surveyor
About the role
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Ceetech, an RSK Group company. This is a full time and permanent position that would suit someone who is ready to dive further into their career with a team of industry experts. Ceetech are a mechanical, electrical and maintenance services company operating across East Anglia, the Home Counties and the Greater London area. Ceetech have established themselves as one of the leading building services contractors integrating not just mechanical and electrical installations, but those that make use of renewable energy sources too. We are seeking an M&E Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of M&E projects, overseeing contract administration, valuations, variations, claims and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Contract Administration: Review contract conditions, and administer commercial documentation/notices throughout the project.
- Valuation: Manage the application process, and evaluate interim payments.
- Variations & Claims: Identify, price, and negotiate variations or change orders with clients and supply chains.
- Financial Reporting: Undertake monthly cost-value reconciliation (CVR), cash flow tracking, and forecasting.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Degree or technical qualification in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of commercial and post-contract experience focused on M&E work packages.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction law, and standard industry contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Skills: Excellent numerical, negotiation, and IT skills (proficient in Excel and measurement software). Must work well in a team environment.
