Quantitative Researcher - Prediction Markets, Quant Trading

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within an Aerospace & Defense environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Build the foundational data infrastructure and transform raw data into pricing inputs
• Research and develop quantitative models for pricing, market-making, and risk across diverse markets
• Model dependencies and correlations across various products, particularly combinatorial items like parlays
• Collaborate with traders to enhance pricing logic and overall trading performance
• Design frameworks for backtesting, simulation, and model validation
• Create monitoring tools for model performance, calibration, and live trading outcomes
• Establish workflow, tooling, and research standards for a new quantitative research team

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative background in statistics, math, machine learning, economics, or a related field
• Experience with model building in trading, sports, betting, or prediction markets
• Proficient in Python and data management, especially data pipelines and modeling
• Ability to swiftly transition from raw data to insightful research and production-ready models
• Demonstrated high ownership with strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment

Pay

$100,000 – $150,000 annually
